Today, I am really feeling the strength and truth of this quote. Vincent van Gogh said, "I am seeking. I am striving. I am in it with all my heart." I consider myself an artist, but more over, I consider myself to be an inquisitive person. I think that nature of seeking and yearning to grow enables artists; it has certainly enabled me. 

"I am seeking." I look for answers to questions, for ways to grow, for new and exciting ventures, for challenges to myself and my work.

"I am striving." I work and reach to obtain my goals. I use the knowledge I have sought after and gained to equip me on a path towards something greater. 

"I am in it with all my heart." This is sometimes the hardest of all. Looking for the right answers and keeping an open mind is easy, putting yourself to work is easy, keeping the motivation and will power alive and kicking for the duration is tough. I don't wake up everyday feeling inspired to paint, but I push on. I don't wake up everyday ready to work, but still I do. Knowing that I am doing what I love makes the challenge easier, but it is still a challenge.
